Polymath: A Person of Encyclopedic Leaning,
and Accomplished in Many Fields

“Learning never exhausts the mind.” – Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo is known for his insatiable curiosity regarding the world around him. He had an interdisciplinary approach to understanding life. He is what we would call a “Renaissance Man”, a true Polymath, learned in many subjects. He had a voracious desire to explore and study and so he pursued knowledge in many subjects, not only left brained ideas and endeavors, but also employing right brain activities.  Thereby enabling him to attain a balanced right brain/left brain perspective, which is in many ways a higher mind. He was balanced in his approach to the arts and sciences. He was able to take advantage of his intuitive nature and access the quantum field when necessary, allowing him to excel in any subject or endeavor he put his mind to.

His notebooks are filled with studies on human anatomy, color, form, and natural phenomena, number, measurement and geometry, chemistry and alchemy, as well as mechanical inventions.  He also delved heavily into the metaphysical and had philosophical inquiries about the nature of the Universe. “Salvator Mundi,” in this light, is not just a religious icon but a canvas on which Leonardo projects his comprehension of universal truths, blending the mundane with the sublime, and the scientific with the spiritual. We have not yet uncovered the depth of his knowledge nor the vastness of his insight and understanding into who and what we really are.

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” – Leonardo da Vinci

All our knowledge has its origins in our perceptions.” – Leonardo da Vinci

Just as some people have a tremendous desire to divide and conquer, others have a tremendous desire to know and understand. Leonardo was a man whose desire to understand the world around him was profound, and he devoted most of his time to investigating many subjects and aspects of life.

The hidden or esoteric knowledge of the world was protected by the polymaths, understanding life from a full body perspective as opposed to the politicians and the religious sects of the day.  To be a polymath is to be a philosopher. Polymath didn’t mean the study of math as number.

According to a 21st century polymath, Robert Edward Grant, “Polymath is not only equated with mathematics. Poly means many and math meant learning, so polymath means many learnings.  So the doorway to become a philosopher is to be a “many learner” and once you became a philosopher, then you got into esoteric wisdom and mystery schools. The Egyptian mystery schools is where all the polymaths, and philosophers went. They all went there,  in fact, you must go there. It is part of the process of initiation”.

Grant, an extremely learned man himself says, “Leonardo da Vinci went there, Plato went there, Pythagoras spent 30 years there. They all go to the Egyptian mystery schools to learn in the ‘Land of Kem’. (Egypt was formerly known as Kem or the Land of Kem- black soil) Yeshua (Jesus) went there. Jesus and John the Baptist both went there. They both studied at the Egyptian mystery schools.”

As a point of interest, according to Robert Edward Grant, there was a mystery school that had been in existence for almost 500 years that was closed down by Nazis when they occupied Egypt in 1944.  “Why was there a mystery school with the name of ‘Leonardo da Vinci‘s school of Egyptian Mysteries’? Why did that even exist?” Grant recently asked Aubrey Marcus on his podcast. The reason he said it existed is because, “da Vinci, during the lost years of his life in Italy, spent a little over three years in Egypt working for the Sultan of Cairo. Leonardo wrote about it in his compendium of works, which was called the Codex Atlanticus. It’s in reference 1336 and 1337.”  Grant explains.

Leonardo Visited The Great Pyramid – An Esoteric Education

Mainstream, exoteric knowledge says that Leonardo did not go to the Egypt to see the pyramids. However, Leonardo himself reveals something different.

In Leonardo’s writings he tells the whole story, and it’s not written backwards as Leonardo normally wrote to encrypt his thoughts.  Interestingly Grant shares that, “Whenever da Vinci writes forward (normal) it’s encrypted as well.” And Grant would know as he has done an in-depth study of Leonardo’s writings and work.  Grant claims, “After 1486 da Vinci had encrypted on all his paintings Egyptian iconography. In a draft letter sent to the Sultan of Cairo, Leonardo tells the story of how he’s engaged by this Sultan to be an engineer on a confidential project.” Grant continues, “It doesn’t say whether it’s architectural, it implies architectural.  However, Leonardo does go into great detail about his experience at Mount Torres.  Everyone believes that Mount Torres must be a reference to the Torres mountains that are in Armenia.” Says Grant.  “Leonardo describes the town that he was in, a place called calendra or calendar. However, there is no such history in either Turkey or Armenia of a town with this name.”

This is an example of Leonardo’s genius. Leonardo encrypted his writing whenever he wrote. He could not openly reveal where he was nor what he thought. Breaking the encryption, Grant exposes that Leonardo was referring to the original name of the Giza Plateau, which was Ross Tao. Grants explains, “If you read Ross Tao backwards, it’s Tao Roe. Another way to pronounce Tao (the letter “T”) you rotate it slightly and it becomes Kai Roe (Cairo)” Leonardo cleverly encrypted his whereabouts.  This is information most people do not know about but can be found in Leonardo’s writings, if you know how to read and decipher his work.

Grant beautifully makes the case for the true meaning of Leonardo’s adventure in the Codex Atlanticus.  Grant sheds further light, “The bull mountain that he is referencing is actually shown to us in hieroglyphics. The original name of the Great Pyramid, among its names, one of them is Mer and all three pyramids are Mer Ka Ba. But the name of the Mer pyramid is to the Apis Bull. In hieroglyphics you see two chevrons and a bull.  So, the original name of the great pyramid is ‘Bull Mountain’.” Grant points out “Leonardo was referring the Great Pyramid when he says ‘it seems that they touch the sky’ and it’s oriented in such a way that it has sunlight on its east and west side in equal amount during the day because it’s perfectly situated to North.”

Grant claims unequivocally that Leonardo is exactly describing the Great Pyramid. He further elucidates Leonardo’s detailed description, ‘It’s covered in the most splendid and gleaming white limestone’.  “This is exactly how he describes it.” Grant says. “And he goes into a room or a cavern within Bull Mountain and the cavern that he is talking about is reference to the Kings Chamber. Leonardo describes how right before you walk into the chamber you must bend over, it’s exactly 39 inches high.” Grant says that they are not supposed to have a meter back then, but it measures exactly as a meter.” Leonardo had this overwhelming feeling, of going into this room of mystery and he was afraid at the same time.” This was the exact same experience that Grant had visiting the Great Pyramid and going into the Kings Chamber. Grant visited Egypt many times, spending 18 nights in the Great Pyramid.

I asked ChatGPT the question, ‘What was da vinci commissioned to do by the Sultan of Cairo (Babylon)?’ The answer was, “Leonardo da Vinci was commissioned by Sultan al-Ashraf Qaitbay of Cairo (Formally called Babylon) to design a massive fortress, likely intended to defend against potential attacks. This project, however, was never realized, and the specifics of the commission are not well-documented.”

However, when I asked ChatGPT Did Leonardo da Vinci go to the pyramids ChatGPT said:There’s no historical evidence that Leonardo da Vinci ever visited the pyramids of Egypt. He lived during the Renaissance (1452–1519) and was deeply curious about the world, but his travels were mostly within Europe. While he studied many subjects, including anatomy, engineering, and art, there are no records indicating he made a trip to Egypt. His fascination with the pyramids likely came from the writings and artworks of others rather than personal experience.”

It seems that AI is fallible, or a more accurate depiction is that the humans programming ChatGPT did not read Leonardo’s Codex Atlanticus themselves and therefore were unaware that Leonardo in fact visited the Great Pyramids and went into the Kings chamber. Could this be evidence of modern day editing of history? Are the powers that be still trying to hide the truth and control the narrative? Or is it a simple oversight? Whomever is responsible for programming AI did not know Leonardo went to Egypt, visited the Great pyramid, and went into the Kings Chamber.   Is it possible that they did not know that Leonardo studied in the ancient Egyptian mystery schools, and that there was a mystery school with the name ‘Leonardo da Vinci’s School of Egyptian Mysteries’ that existed for over 500 years in Egypt? A school that was still in existence when the Nazis came in and occupied Egypt in 1944. Someone didn’t do their homework.

Leonardo was aware of a whole vast body of information and knowledge that could not be shared outside of secret mystery schools for fear of prosecution. What he learned, Leonardo put into his paintings in an encrypted form to pass along the information to those who were educated in the esoteric mysteries, who knew how to read his encryptions and spoke his language of mathematics and geometry. Thus, revealing knowledge and information that everyone should know, but those in power wanted to keep secret. Leonardo could not share these things outwardly, so he resorted to encryption.

Some of you reading this are art historians or art experts of various kinds, (and granted, many lay people as well) however, I would have to say your area of expertise is in exoteric wisdom and not in esoteric wisdom so of course, this would be information that you would not be privy to.

However, in your defense, since esoteric wisdom is still somewhat suppressed, or ignored currently you certainly would not have opportunity to come across knowledge of its suppression or this information until now.

However, this is the Information Age, and “What once was concealed will now be revealed”. Luke 8:17, 12:1-3, Colossians 1:26

“There are three classes of people: those who see, those who see when they are shown, those who do not see.”
